SHIFTnLIFT is a personal workout and fitness tracking application. The app is designed to collect only the information necessary to provide workout tracking and progress features.
1. What Data We Collect
SHIFTnLIFT does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
The server may store:
- Your username and email address (for account access)
- Basic profile details (such as height, date of birth, and weight)
- Workout sessions you create
- Exercises, sets, repetitions, and weights you log
- Calculated training statistics (such as volume, estimated 1RM, and personal records)
2. What We Do Not Collect
- Location data
- Contacts
- Photos or media from your device
- Advertising identifiers for profiling
- Background activity from other applications
3. How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used only to:
- Display your workouts and training history
- Calculate training metrics
- Track progress over time
- Provide account authentication and access
SHIFTnLIFT does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Security
Passwords are securely hashed on the server and are never stored in plain text. All communication between the app and server is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS).
5. Account and Data Deletion
Users may delete individual workouts and training entries directly within the app.
Users may also permanently delete their entire account from within the app settings.
When an account is deleted, associated profile data, workout history, and stored training metrics are permanently removed from the active database.
Encrypted backup data may be retained temporarily for security and disaster recovery purposes and is automatically purged within a defined retention period.
If a user cannot access their account, they may request deletion by contacting the developer using the contact details below.
